Alban went back to France in 2002 and so had to quit 4Element. It was the beginning of a difficult search to replace him as 4Element's drummer. Xavier and Cedric finally found Esteban who was a great replacement and added Tom on percussion and later electronics and beautiful lyrics. Alban on the other side of the Atlantic kept himself busy and dabbled in electronics and produced, mixed and released an electro album called iMachination. At this time no one has tried to play the music with a live band but it will happen! After playing with different bands in Paris, some cover bands, some original stuff, he ended up playing in an improv band. At least at first! Jass & Bazz evolved into a great musical spirit and they created beautiful songs. Some are recorded, some can only be heard live somewhere and everywhere in Paris. Hope to have an album out soon! As if all that wasn't enough, Alban and Cedric decided to collaborate on some music, Alban on one side of the pond and Cedric on the other. The album is based on some of their explorations on the computer. In 2007, after 2 years of hard work and sending files across the Atlantic, we present you Re-De-Generation! To keep in the family, the artwork is from their sister Sophie. An all-instrumental album with a lot of surprises as you can expect it from those two. |
